Mill Creek Lumber Products was started by the Miles family of Haleyville, Alabama in 2001. They ran Mill Creek as a fluent wholesale distributor until David Miller purchased it in 2012. The Miller family still owns Mill Creek. Since 2012, with the help of its past and present employees, Mill Creek has tripled in size and added many new operations and equipment.

Great Southern Enterprises was started by the Knight family of Haleyville, Alabama and operated as a sawmill in their early years of the 40s and 50s. Later, they added other operations including a treating plant. The Miller family purchased Great Southern Enterprises in 2018 and continues to operate while expanding the company with new capabilities and upgrades!
